The mighty 'Spurs' gained another three points today, in close game which was only won in the final moments.
Having received the kick-off 'Spurs' opened the scoring toward the end of the first half but not before losing the ball and then regaining it quickly.
In the second half 'Spurs' managed to get the ball from their dark-elf opponents and looked set to score again. A failed pass allowed 'Osgronath' to get it back and take it deep into the 'Spurs' half of the field. Despite putting as much pressure on the score as possible, for the stretched wood-elf outfit, 'Osgronath' completed a field long counter to level the game. This meant that only a two turn TD could secure the result, which should have already been safe for 'Tottenheim'. Driving deep with limited cover, newly signed wardancer 'Gazza' managed to stay on his feet from a solid block and with some follow up support in the last turn then blitzed his marker out of the way and ran in for the winner.
Thanks to 'Hobo' for a game played in the right spirit and looking forward to the return fixture later in the season.”
“-You canĀ“t win them all, the doging was terrible all the game, we need to look over the players diet, all cred to the Spurs says manger Mr Walker to Spysport.”
