“The match was hard fought from the start, with Deathwind taking the opening drive down for a TD but losing Doombringer, the ST 4 werewolf to a foul - he was badly hurt and out for the rest of the game. The first half ended 1-0 with the only serious injury, a skink that failed a dodge.

The second half was a battle, but the lizards were slowly being removed from the pitch until only the Kroxigor, a single Sauras and 3 skinks remained. However, then the luck finally turned and Ghost failed a 3+ dodge with RR to cause a turnover at the goal line...the skink picked it up and tried to pass deep down field, but could not manage...the skink was taken out and the ball thrown in. Deathwind picked up the ball and then on turn 16 had to blitz through some lizards for the score - but failed and the ball dropped...then still not done, the skink picked up the ball dodging like mad and made a pass all the way downfield to a skink who was marked by a single ghoul but in range to score...catch failed..RR...catch failed. And the game ended. Deathwind won, but the lizards outmanned at the end played incredibly well - if they had that drive and passion earlier in the game, there would have been no chance of Deathwind winning.

In a related note, two players gained skills from the match...and both were +ST. So now the team fields 2 ST 4 werewolves and a ST 4 ghoul! Already threats have come in from future competition - setting their sights on killing the wolves...”
