“In true XFL-fashion the Halflings stole the stage in this game whereas the Trees were mostly reduced to pounding on each other with little effect. The definite highlight came when the sky darkened above Subhirtella and before the poor halfling had a chance to look up another quite fat but not-as-soft as hoped to be landed on the halfling.

A *splat* sound later the crowd gave up a huge roar of approval.

After the game the Foodeater coach could only utter cryptic things but said something about an afterparty where both teams were invited, although the invite was fairly loud and consisted of:
"HALFLINGS! TONIGHT WE DINE IN HELL!"
