“An all girl battle that was dirty and nasty throughout. The OBNB received the ball to start the first half and left their thrower deep in their own end while the rest of the girls from both sides wrestled in the middle of the pitch. During the scuffle, Antonia (ST 5 thrower) was fouled hard and only apothecary saved her from a perm injury. One bad round by the OBNB and Anita (ST 4 thrower) broke free for a blitz on the OBNB thrower and tossed her to the ground. Some awesome dodging allowed her to get up and heave the ball deep, but Embrace the Wind managed to get to the loose ball and managed to get it up field. On turn 8, a blitz freed the mark on Anita and she expertly picked up the ball and jogged in for the score to end the half up 1-0.

The second half had Embrace the Wind receiving the ball. They struck quickly with the catchers knifing through the lines. On turn 10, a handoff to Anita and a nice pass and catch by Rage (thanks to Nerves of Steel) and then some nifty dodging and it was 2-0. There was plenty of time left; however, after a bad kick, the OBNB tried to push the ball downfield too quickly and it was jarred loose. For the majority of the rest of the game the ball remained on the field. Finally on turn 15, OBNB grabbed the ball and headed to the endzone. On turn 16, before walking in for the score, the OBNB wanted to bash a bit more...unfortunately they slipped on a block (no RRs left) and so no score. Oh and somewhere in there a foul by OBNB would have killed on the Wind players if not for apothecary...it was a nasty game...these girls do not like each other!
