“Ok, I will have to admit that I forgot to start writing this in the first half because I got so carried away! What I'll quickly summarise the 1st half and then give you the second on in detail. Sorry readers!

We are sorry to announce that due to a large amount of snotlings eating through our spellcasting equiptment we were unable to send you pictures or commentary for the first half of this eagerly anticipated game, it will suffice to say that thus far there have been no injuries and the score is 1-1 and is looking like it could go either way! The Girl Power! fans have been very vocal with their support for the linewoman emma - nothing to do with her abilities you understand.... but this is a family show so I think we'll steer clear of that!

The Teams set up for the seond half, tension in the air - this could be a classic if something good happens.... So the fans do something about it and grab the ref! they've began to barbeque him! how barbaric!

The wood elves are set up in their 'lets go this way' formation once again and recaive the kick off. The elf chain works as usual and Natalie Storms down the bottom touchline! but she's hit from behind, goes down and drops the ball! it's ok though, Jess has it, throws a block and pounds her way into the endzone! 2-1 to Girl Power! The crowd aer going nuts!

The pro elves are really mad now! They're offensive line smacks the entire wood elf line to the floor! and the wide defendersin the bottom endzone are down too! Oh no! There goes the catcher for the pro elves throught the line! he's away from everyone! but Natalie and gemma are going to get him surely? yes, gemma's floored him! But what's this? as he fel he gave the ball to his team mate Eragon who pounds it in for a touchdown! what a twist of fate!

The kick sails right to Gemma, who picks it up and passes it to Natalie who hands it off to sarah who runs with a whole load of the wood elves in a giant block down the touchline! The Pro elves threw everything at theformation, knocking the ball out of it but Lucy J pounces on it and heads across the pitch! she's away! But a blitzer is after her! surely he cantcatch her? She goes for the endzone.... but the blitzer trips her up! wow what a game saving play! wow, what a great last turn! I can't believe that! the final whistle goes as the pro elves attempt to throw it upfield and the fans are all stood still in shock, heck everyone in the broadcasting box are too! What a game we have seen here folks! Katie is awarded the MVP... Not sure why - I smell more panel corruption.....

The bloodweiser player of the game goes to...Gemma! This girl really came alive tonight with 13 really important passing yards, rushing and 3 blocks. When her team needed a hero she really stepped up to the plate tonight.

Tonight we have a special feature for you, earlier we asked what Mr.Aecrylis, the coach of the Algaesia team what he thought about his counterpart, the Girl Power! coach and also star catcher Natalie and he said this 'we went into the game fully expecting to win, but the charm of Natalie made us see double, hit the wrong guys, roll multiple skulls and other things that can only be related to the working of evil women!!'.

Of course we had to ask him one more thing, what did he think about the opposition team now that they had held him to a draw in just their 4th match? 'We have already signed them up as mortal enemies of Algaesia, and we shall not stop until every last one is either married (not to us for gods sake!), dead or otherwise incapable of performing their duties to the team.' It is probably worth commenting that when he said that he did not mean married to his team's players there was a collective sigh in the Algaesia dressing room.


So the undefeated streak is stretched to 5 games! Can anyone stop these girls?
