“I started this game with only 11 players available and was hoping to avoid casualties early on. But as someone once said ‘Dem Wimmin is Dangerus’.
Polder my +ma skink is BH 1st turn. I manage to score but kick off 10 v11.
Turn 6 and my sidestep skink Humus is BH and in the same turn Skink Alluvium goes the same way. The Amazons score in turn 8 its 1-1 at half time.
So here we go then 8 v 11 coach Cyrus-Havoc is despondent but hey never give up right! Turn 1 Saurus Volcanic is KO 7 v 11, then Amazon linewoman Alessandra is KO to so 7 v10.
Turn 2 Linewoman Marta is BH 7 v 9.
Then turn 3 Saurus Obsidian is BH. I make the tactical decision to use my apothecary and he succeeds. He was at this point next to the ball carrier so this is doubly useful.
Turn 4 is where it really starts to go for me, linewoman Barbara fails a blitz it’s a turnover. Saurus Flint Blitzes ball carrier Elisa and knocks her prone; the ball is free!
Turn 5 is the game winner, Saurus Flint surfs Elisa and we now have 7 v8. Skink Loess makes the game winning play and dodges through a crowd of 5 Amazons picking up the ball on the way. Saurus Granite SI’S Michela and then Saurus Obsidian kills Blitzer Aricicci though this is apothed successfully, 7 v 7!
Turn 6 Aricicci stands up dodges and blitzes the ball carrier but only manages a push back; it was the only option. Loess then blitzes away to score its 2-1!
On turn 7 Blitzer Deddy fails a GFI there is no chance left for an Amazon score Rock of Ages has won coach Cyrus-Havoc can hardly believe it. He can only guess at what Coach Blackhungrybeast made of it.
