A good match for Science Gone Wrong - almost everything went according to plan. The only thing that Science Gone Wrong had not counted on for this experiment was Rip, the bone-headed werewolf on the opposing squad! If there was a chance for Rip to screw up a play, trip, roll skulls or any other thing, he did so with reckless abandon.

Science Gone Wrong kept the pressure up in the first half, but the stalwart Freakshow defense forced them to leave holes in their formation. There was one retreat to relative safety at midfield half-way through the drive, then the pocket rumbling towards the end-zone widened enough to permit the ball-carrier entry again. It was a time-consuming score, but a good one. The Freakshow's three remaining turns to score in the half were frittered away as no receivers got deep enough to be a threat.

The second half saw the experiement flip the tables around but the result was the same: Rip blitzed his way into trouble at the end of the line of scrimmage on the opening turn, took a hit and coughed up the ball. Science Gone Wrong shifted their attack to the weak side and rolled down the wings with only minor harrasment by a wight and a ghoul to deal with for another score. The third drive, the dwarves were eager to post up another score, so they suckerpunched the first blocker of the turn and quickly swarmed across midfield. After a few turns of skirmishes about the pitch, Mr Frankenstein found himself deep with the ball! However, the crowd's maniacal urging could not help against the werewolf and ghoul back-checker combo. He had a chance to score as the ball rested in the end-zone under the watchful eye of a ghoul, so Mr Frankenstein hurled himself across the line without being tackled, but as he reached for the ball a quick slap knocked it out of his hands, ending the match.

Hungaryray, I still feel bad that your luck was so poor, but the stats were surely influenced by all your failed stand-firm dodges with the golems. ;) At any rate, the match was fun to play - hopefully we will face each other again soon!
