A crazy crazy game that ended up being a lot of fun though for long periods it was very unenjoyable for my opponent who was getting his team manhandled by a team that did not have a single Mighty Blow.

The Loyals won the toss and elected to receive, only to suffer a Blitz!

The Falcons injured a great Loyals player (AG5) immediately and caught the bouncing ball.

The Loyals played some great defence to pressure the ball despite losing more players to injury or KO through the half. Suddenly, they managed to steal the ball (one dice POW without tackle I think heh) and the Loyals held on to make it a 0-0 half.

The Salts did their work and all but one Loyals player woke up whilst both the KO Falcons stayed unconcious (for another two drives after this one).

The Falcons started in offence against only 8 Loyals (1 KO, the others BH) and was able to get an easy score.

The Loyals were able to reply with only 9 players after some silly play by the Falcons (I didn't move all my players before rerolling a 2 dice blitz and got myself a double skulls - I could have put another 4 defenders onto the potential ball carrier and the guy who blitzed me).

It was then 11 against 9 with the Falcons with 4 turns to seal the match.

The Falcons pushed forward and kept the ball back before advancing and handing off to a Str4 Blodger. The Loyals made some dodges and got a one dice POW on the ball carrier and sent it downfield to their Witch!

It was looking desperate for the Falcons, who had to send three players onto the Str4 Witch to blitz her (2 dice rerolled) and the ball was knocked free. The Falcons sent their Thrower onto the ball but he failed the pick up and it landed on another Blodger who caught it.

The Loyals got a two dice blitz on the ball carrier without Tackle and got double Pows and then an almost perfect scatter after it went onto a Falcons player who missed it, back onto the prone player and then onto the other side. It looked like it was game over for the Falcons as the Loyals thrower was within range to scoop up the ball and throw it downfield to the Witch again!

The Loyals just needed a 2+ dodge or GFI to get to the ball, or a Pow with two dice on a Sidestepper, but rolled snakes to dodge towards the player near the ball giving the Falcons an unlikely reprieve!

The Falcons recovered the ball and snuck away with an inglorious victory after some average play and a lot of topsy turvy luck.

What a bizarre game. I had awesome block dice, sending Dalibor's best players to the injury box, leaving him with no Guard, and taking out some Str4 and AG5 players.

However Dalibor also has some amazing dodging and ball handling, and three times he got to my ball carrier and got clean POW without having Tackle, getting a 1 dice Pow, 1 dice Pow and 2 dice double Pow to thwart my scoring opportunities.

The dice rolls were bizarre and made what looked like a one sided rout into a game where the result was not determined until the very last plays by both teams and ended up being quite enjoyable.
