“Was good to meet theo first game in the season. Though I think the lads get a bit sloppy in this game. They claimed it was just a matter of creaky bones getting back into the swing of it, even the ancients boys sad the same thing (this game sure had a few moments of b grade blood bowl happening!) but coach isn't convinced.
Each season the lads spend alot of time cheering on the Ancients, so come game time he's not quite sure the lads are hittin the field in a badass frame of mind. And when you've only got one or two marbles rattling around in your zombified skull, thats pretty important.
Still, it was a good pre-season warmup. The ancients stars played superbly second half to hold off the win while massively outnumbered.
3 votes - #1 Flesh and Bones
Kept dodging into gaps a flesh golem shouldn't have been able to fit into! Very big pain in the ass. Also brought down Frost Warden when he drew double skulls from the usually reliable undead Vanguarder.

Stalward in defence. Managed to pow the ball carrier, just couldn't find partners to help him finish the job. Even managed to draw a failed block that put a mummy down!

Made some great plays on the ball in the second half, but didn't pull off the cas his team desperately needed to keep the numbers even.
