#5 Demise – Broken Ribs (MNG)
A difficult final match for the dark elves. From the opening kick until the end of the game the dark elves tripped too much and overall suffered from some bad mishaps.

In particular, to start the game, Deathwind kicked off, but had a perfect defense. On Unblockable's first action their only player with guard trips and falls (snake eyes). On Deathwind's first turn, the guard player is fouled out (KO - but never wakes up), Kend'ra, the Unblockable's star witch elf was also blitzed and knocked out (also never woke up). The fast moving ghouls and werewolves pounced on the loose ball and soon scored. The KO box quickly filled for the dark elves and they were constantly short players. The first half ended with Deathwind scoring on the T8 to make it 2-0.

The second half, Unblockable kicked off, and Deathwind had to foul, foul, and foul some more trying to get the CAS needed to win the tournament...with the claws unable to create a CAS, it was Revenge who managed to avoid the ref's attention long enough to cause 2 CAS. Then on T16, Deathwind himself badly hurt another dark elf to secure the tournament victory.

Our thanks to Phubar for hanging in and coaching well even under difficult circumstances! Thanks for the game.
