“Good match by PeteW who - after being denied the first TD of the game on turn 6 in the first half by stalling unsafely - took no chances in the second half but fouled his way to certain victory against a beaten team.


Weather : Pouring rain - and it lasted the whole game making ballhandling a joke.

The opening kickoff saw a PD to the lizzies, leaving the LOS rats in for a world of hurt and a semi-sneaky play by myself failed on doubleskulls. Then a long half of failed pickups ensued and the ref blew the whistle for the first half with the rats being 3 man down and kicking.

The lizards murdered the LOS and a GR to boot and caged the ball in for a few turns, removing rats from the field at an alarming rate. The rats could field 3, the thrower, a GR and the st4 rat for their kickoff late in the half. A pathetic attack was honored by more booting and the clock silently ran out, the rat-thrower hurting himself on a risky block.

Thus endeth todays lesson.
