“Early game had my elves bashed out of the game so much I thought I'd have no chance. Twice I had a lay on their ball carrier without pow, but a freakshow chance gave me an open blitz on their ball carrier once more and knocking the ball out. In the ensuing chaos, an elf did his elf thing and dodged/longbombed the ball for the 1-0 before half time. Second half we played the spread the field by holding the thrower back while threatening to score... yet not doing so. As the orcs didn't send anybody who could really threaten my ball carrier, I was able to stretch it to turn 6 before passing. A failed catch and no rerolls to back me up could've made things difficult, but I ended up scoring anyway.
