A tough start for our opponents, a tripped up dodge sent a lady to the pitch. I think our opposing coach is a little too soft hearted for the ladies though, sent out the apo with what looked to be a minor sprain. Hope it doesn't hurt him later.

Sssla has finally lived up to all his smack talk, finally scoring a TD. On their ensuing possession they had it tough though they quickly overpowered my line. The did leave a small openning that allowed Igulam to reach the ball carrier, to no effect. They sent Igulam to the ground but the ball carrier once again ended her turn tantalizingly close. Igulam stood up and charged the ball carrier. Maybe a little too over eager in getting the ball carrier, Igulam tripped up, I think a sprain in his leg as much as his pride kept him off the pitch for the remainder of the game. A quagmire of poorly done plays on both parts had them falling short of our endzone by a mere one yard.

In the second half a blitz and a dodgy by our depleted line allowed Komodo to get to the ball and make an amazing catch. He fought hard to keep the ball and nearly managed to hold on to it despite beiing surrounded by nearly the entire opposing team. Gila went over to lend a hand, giving Komodo a slight chance to get away. A weak blitz out of the heart of their line but unfortunately could not knock down the opposing player left him trying to pull off another dodge to score. As much as we willed him to make the dodge, he wasn't able to and fell to the ground, it was a hard enough fall to knock him out, we checked him, no concussion. They recovered the ball and a botched pass gave us a second shot at it, Gator went and got ahold of it, but by this time we were only able to field 3 players and just didn't have the numbers to protect him. He was quickly over run and they marched the ball into the endzone, we were unable to provide even token resistance.

Luckily the smelling salts allowed us to recover two players else we'd have been forced to concede the match. Nothing really happened on our drive, we had no chance to break through their lines and the ball was handily safe next to Gila, Komodo and Gator.

Thankfully the final whistle blew, I think next time we'll be sure to be able to field a full team. If we have the option. A tough team to play with a savvy coach, great game.
