“Well this made up somewhat for my agonising loss to Clay at Leviathan. Maybe I should have taken my new woodies instead. Necros didnt even win best painted :(
This was a handy game, last time I beat Clay 5-0 (Westfield Maulers) they destroyed the team, and ensured we were in horrible shape for the future. This was a perfect safe game (apoth required).
With the recent retirement of Baj, the player vying with Touchstone as the greatest on the team was our Treeman Ra-Hel, funnily enough Touchstone never made it on the field. Despite the catcalls from the other dugout.
There was little Clay could do to be honest once all the breaks started coming my way. Took his reaming like a man in a cell with a guy named "Tiny", a true gentleman :)
His players did dissapoint, Twahnlows are hard:
3 votes to #13 Gateau D'Anniversaire - Scared me when he killed Forjal, I had nightmares of being destroyed despite my victory.
2 votes to #5 Immunite Diplomatique - This fast moving bugger sticks in my mind as atleast having a go today.
1 vote to #1 La Mort Par L'etranglement - While often pushed away by the smaller elves, there was little to no chance of injuring this brute, and his tentacles dictated some risky play which had luck been on Clays side could have changed the game dramatically.”

What do I do? Receive! Idiot!! Damn knee jerk reaction.
Had some ordinary luck and lost a beastie BH'ed and a Rotter KO'ed and turned the ball over and at the half am down 0-1.
Then the second half, rain clears, elf get the ball and score... 0-2
Then BLITZ.... 0-3
Then BLITZ... 0-4
Then a kick to my far sideline and I only had 8 players... DOUBLE SKULL first block... so effectively worse than a blitz.
Final Score: 0-5....
But credit to the elfsies... they did what they do best... Score.
TWAHNLOWS
3pts - Rael... 2TDs from the rookie.
2pts - Hua Xhen... covered everywhere and was fairly aggressive and took the game to us.
1pt - Beli... guard lino... no big star, but always seemed to be there in the way.
