“A solid team of chaos dwarves was standing on the other side of the pitch and for good reason, Asher's Elves were concerned about more injuries. What was worse...news reached us that the Black Mountain Bulls had sneaked in some knuckledusters...and Asher was suffering from a virus - our star wardancer was not available. There was concern. However, Astra - a rookie player...but a wardancer dismissed the concerned and then proceeded to show an attitude on the field. He leapt around knocking the ball free several times in addition to causing two CAS in the first half to lead the way. Although the first half ended 0-0. The Black Mountain Bulls were on their heels. For at the end of the first half a bull had made a blitz and stumbled on the block and was badly hurt. In the second half things got silly - with the wood elves blocking all the dwarves into the ground and killing 2 of them with blocks as well. Down players to an agile wood elf team that had 2 guard players proved too much and although they put up a spirited defense...they could not hold and the wood elves manged to break through and score twice in the second half to seal one of the wackiest games ever played.
