“A tough uncompromising game was just what the Spiders didn't want, but it was what they got when they went on the road to face the newly formed Sack Magic chaos team.

Even the powers of the warp couldn't have ground out some entertainment from this tight match that was dominated for most of the game with a midfield toe-to-toe of both teams' big 'uns. The minotaur nicknamed 'The furry tractor' (probably because he runs like he's pulling half a ton of manure behind him) slugged it out with Cluny the rat ogre - and what a scrap! The Tractor got the first blood, but Cluny responded by getting up and giving him a return flooring. He then put in a number of illegal stamps to keep the bovine down. Things were going well until the Tractor recovered his footing and rammed Cluny with a thunderous charge that shook onlookers. Cluny was carried off sparked out and may be awake before next match!

Fortunately whilst this ruck was happening, a chaos warrior fumble allowed the one true player of class to shine. Cometh the hour, cometh the man. If that saying is true, it must have been dead on midnight, because Whisperblade Rust was on superfluous dodging form, skipping past a number of Chaos Warriors who had been groping for the ball, and tearing to their endzone for a touchdown. It was the end of the scoring but not the end of the game as The Furry Tractor started to dominate (now he didn't have a sparring partner), with crunching block after crunching block. By the end the Spiders were lucky to hang on, having a mere 8 men left.

So a star performance from Rust, but an ominous club record 14 blocks from The Tractor, showed that there is plenty more to come from him. And no bull.”
