After a long and painfull game, only 4 elfs were left for the last turn of the second half, and 3 of those on the LOS. However, the elfs acted fast, before the vapires even realized the game was on the elfs stepped back and quickly moved behind the opponents front line. At the same time, the thrower that had gotten handed the ball, as the vampire kicker could not kick good enough, ran back to keep the ball safe. As the vampires closed on on the thrower, one of the other elfs broke out from his guards and ran into an open field. All the thrower had to do now was to make that pass. It failed and landed just in fron of the elf. Both teams looked on the clock - only a few seconds left. One thrall knocked down the elf by the ball and another thrall got his hand on the ball first, but it was longer to pass than he had ever passed before and as he tried as hard as he could he dropped the ball at his feet. The knocked down elf got up, and ran into the TD zone. Another elf just barely made it to the ball, picked it up right in front of the thrall and threw it, just inches away from the head of the thrall. As the end signal sounded, the elf in the TD zone cought the ball, thus winning the game by 2-1.”
