The bright sunshine damaged the Spirits' throwing game for a full half; combined with a blitzing play early and a shockingly good arial game by the Drained, it meant that an otherwise even match was lopsided from the start.

The Spirits fought back until the end, though, scoring on a long passing/running play on their final turn. Alas, many of their fans had left the stadium by that point, and the remaining few lucky enough to see the dramatic play weren't enough to dissuade the rest from critisising their home team.
