After a dysmal start in the White Isles Albion conference (losing to PeteW's skaven who seemed to have munched abit too much waprstone and acted frenzy killers on the pitch), the second match saw Headsmashers Ltd. facing the Kartoon Killers. Going into the game I only had 10 players to set up (of which 2 were gobbos...). The game went pretty much as I expected as my team simply were overwhelmed by the faster and well lead human team. I managed to roll some hefty dodge rolls but when it came to throwing block dice they just didn't go my way when I needed them the most. The game resulted in a 3-0 loss to my team and in the end a fair result. Well Played SnorriNosebiter :)

After a bottom end of the table finish for season IV it's off to a glorious start for the Kartoon Killers in White Isles season V as they romped their way to a 3-0 victory over White Isles newcomers Headsmashers LTD.
To be fair, it was a bit of a one sided game as I seemed to be having all the luck with most of my 1d blocks going my way, and a couple of unlucky rolls for the orcs saw the Killers take an early lead which they never relinquished.
Hats off to PhrollikK though, a good sport through and through even though nuffle was giving his boys a bit of a shafting, with the orcs AV9 seeming like paper to the Killer's blocks.
Once his boys skill up I think the Headsmashers will certainly be a force in the conference, but until then my Kartoon superheros will bask in the glow of victory and an early top of the table spot, a good game indeed.
