“A difficult match for the halflings as they faced a deep amazon team. It was good that Embrace the Wind was a deep team because Morley's Revenge struck 3 of our players - both throwers and our highest skilled linewomen. However, we were still able to field 11 players.

In the first half, the halflings took the ball to start with and the girls used their guard as best as possible to gang up on the trees - hoping to knock them down...it worked and an expert foul badly hurt the one Treeman...however apothecary came to the rescue for the halflings. The next block badly hurt a halfling...but that was going to be all the CAS for a while. However, the KO box for the halflings quickly filled up and a hard boot killed one of the girls...apothecary to the rescue! Eventually, the halflings made a break for it, but with some go for its, the girls caught up to the halfling and smashed him to the ground. Fouled him for a stun and gathered around the ball. There was just enough time to send the ball the other way and the half ended with the Wind up 1-0. The halflings were kicking to start the second half and the Wind decided to ignore the trees - placing just 1 braze girl in front of both trees...however the kick off landed right on the LOS! Next to a tree and a halfling. Plans changed and a 2d block against the tree was a push or bothdown...taking the bothdown, the tree was seriously injured and the amazon was stunned. The other tree was quickly KOed by a foul and an easy score made it 2-0. With only 4 players left on the pitch for the next kickoff, the ball bounced right to a halfling next to the tree that woke up...throw...stuck the landing....and it was 2-1. However, the halflings were worn out by this time and the girls took control and drove the ball down the field for a final TD to ensure the victory.
