Retribution! This is the game the Ecclesiarchs were living (well, so to speak) for! They spared no expense either, and Schola had to front up to the Count. In the end, the boys probably didn't need him as they rose to the occasion and had a brilliant game. Schola hung in there and came out the other end without any permanent worries though, but there wasn't much they could do against a fired up undead outfit this game.

Coach Snorri was seen with his manic liche's grin for the first time in a long while. We'd thought his transformation had eaten away at his happy place...but alas, its still there!

In the midst of the carnage, Schola managed the most awesome play the folks at Snorriheim have ever beheld. All three twahnlow votes go to the players that put this move together!

3 votes - #6 Bellator

Act II - After his mate Mortifier (see below) had thrown the block to put the count on the sideline, this goat (who'd been dusted the previous turn) picked himself up, dived through a tackle zone and flung himself at the count to pull off an unlikely surf against overwhelming odds!

2 votes - #5 Dominus Mortifer

Genius! What posessed him to start the play with a 2d block against the count to push him onto the sideline we'll never know!

1 vote - #4 Dominus Quod

Finished the play with some immaculately elven dodging and the ball pickup...all in tackle zones!

Game 15

The game started out on a sour note, with Schola losing the toss and kicking first. The undead drive started off with a bang, fouling Bellua into the BH bin on the first turn. The undead continued with the injuries, having put 5 of the chaos team off the pitch by the time they scored in turn 8. In the last turn of the first half, Schola responded by fouling Ignatious out.

The second half started with Schola hoping their bad blocking luck would change direction, but they were rapidly disabused of that notion by the crowd, who threw a rock that seriously injured Bellator. The undead quickly worked on removing as many chaos from the field, doing a successful job, and capitalizing on the man advantage 2 more times for the final score of 3-0.

This game saw the most brilliant play coach Quod has ever dreamed up. The faces of the players when told what they were expected to do was priceless, the face on the undead after the play succeeded was better than priceless. Starting with a -2db on the count (who was carrying the ball) that achieved a pushback putting the count on the sideline. A heroic dodge from the ground into a tacklezone achieved the count being pushed into the crowd, and ball being thrown by the crowd across the field. Some quick dodging and sure hands saw the ball picked up and in control of Schola at the end of our turn.

Twahnlow votes:
3 - #5 Ignatious - 3 blocks and 2 fouls, 1 BH and 2 KO, nice work
2 - #2 Holy Sacrist II - BH a Claw warrior early in the game
1 - #9 Silent Blizzard - Scored 2 TD for the Ecclesiarchs
