“The Working Class Heroes made a clear point today, stating that this is a team capable of wining the cup. Earlier in the cup WCH proved that it has a varied and strong offense. Today, however, its defence shined.

Averaging a staggering 5.27 blocks per player (and 3,9 blocks per turn), the defence was led by the 230 lbs. defensive-end and fellow socialist Dimitrov. Dimitrov crowned his day with a beautifull touchdown, ending Runners Up's drive and closing the match.

But early on it seemed as if WCH might loose not only the game but also touch with the other cup leaders. Runners Up succefully stopped attempts from Luxemburg, Connolly, DiMitrov and Crane before young Draper managed not only to recover a fumble from the opponent, but also he succeded in handing it off to fellow comrade Kropotkin who then scored his 3rd in the cup so far.
Kropotkin almost lost his life in the grueling cup match today. Luckily paramedics standing by close to the sideline got his heart beating and he played an above average game.

This victory must also be seen in the light of WCH was missing their star quarterback and team captain Karl Marx, who was out with a concussion. Replacing him was second string quarterback Lenin, who in some situations was not very visible.

Next week will be very exciting as Marx rejoins his in-form team, adding his creative offensive genious to a well-organized defensive unit.
