What his retirement bought though was 2 handicaps and with a 3 man Morely's and palm the coin, the Norse took the field upbeat. We managed to work our way up the field, takin out a few Zombies here and there, alhtough Sacheeva Preuk managed to trip on a failed dodge and faceplant onto a carelessly misplaced broken bottle.

Everything was going swimmingly and OB looked like entering the hall of fame and going out on a high...but then there was the dreaded 2 * Double Skulls. We still had hope that the ball carrier wouldn't fall, but double POW meant we had no hope. We tried to corner the ball, but a bad bounce meant the crowd got involved. It got thrown down the field and a Zombie picked it up. 0-1 down first half.

The 2nd half and nothing was going right. No KOs, no Morley's, although we did get a number of opposing players off the field. Still, we couldn't hold them forver and in the end it was a very nice play using the Golem in the middle to pass to Groth. 2-0.

All in all a forgettable game. Well done JB, good luck in Conf. And on that note, the Blight management have decided that their team, more and more injured as the season rolls on, will be retiring. A sad day, but perhaps the battered Norse can spend more time with their families and wenches.
