“The constant rain proved to be more of a problem for the High Elves than it was their more rural cousins. A snake-eyes roll on an GFI to stop the Nymph's first drive allowed the Woodies to score early in the second turn. Knowing that he was outclassed when it came to playing elfball with the tree huggers, I slowed the pace of the game down a bit and I attempted to "Ground N Pound" my way through the vegan defense.

The Nymph's beefed up War Dancer (+St, Blodge, Strip Ball) exposed herself early during my return drive. I managed to knock her to the ground with two assists. After caging my ball carrier, I gave the WD a boot which KO'd her all game (Wooot!!!). Unfortunately the other Nymph players proved harder than their team captain and I was barely able to remove anyone else by blocks or fouls :(. I was finally able to grind my way into the Nymph endzone late in the First Half.

Due both to my opponent's skill as well as bad ball handling due to rain, My High Elves gave the Nymph's the ball back half way through my second half drive. By Turn 7 Second Half, my High Elves could not penetrate the literal wall of Wood Elf flesh that seperated them from the tie TD.
