“Ulthuan Invitational III - Final Round, opening match.
Jishi Mushi was out drinking the night before, laughing it up with past dragon greats about the good old times. As a result, he was bone headed, and did his best to act like an ogre for the entire match (which of course led to him being granted the MVP). The team lacked their captain and leader, and their strategy was confused (to say the best).
However, two huge things went in our favor: KOing the two wardancers, who each missed their KO rolls for the 2nd half. Get the ref on the opening 2nd half kickoff. This enabled the club to run around fouling with reckless abandon for the entire second half, and nailed the wood elf OTS near the end of the half.
Without that luck, things may have gone very differently as Falcone was putting heavy pressure on early in the match and nearly stopped a 1st half score by the Dragons.
Thanks for the game!”
