“Not a bad match score-wise, would've done better if my team could actually dodge, but that happens sometimes. Walks_in_the_Sun was pretty unlucky not to score a TD at the end, but the slippery ball (more Elven blood than rainwater) scuppered their chances.

Sadly I tried to make a 3rd (to skill him and his receiver) and failed, rather than simply taking the ball in. Greed + ineptitude = bad results.
Otherwise, 1 1/2 early turns aside, it all went swimmingly for me. I got to use nearly the full team for most of the match, and the elves were kind enough to get kayoed and BHed in droves.despite making no casualties, Fezzik made a big impact. Tackle was unequivocably the right skill for him.
Ed MB-blitzed the elves' two blitzers and killed one and knocked the other out. This right after things had taken a sour turn early on. You can't ask for a better hit, and the match seemed to swing my way at that point (lack of scoring notwithstanding).
Made 30K which allowed us to hire back up to 10 players (for the fourth time) and have 10K left to start saving for the next one.”
