“The Gypsies were ready for a gentler opponent after the tough Waaagh Pain State, so the STORMBLADES seemed like a good match. Jonez took to the field as the team's lone catcher striding alongside the new thrower, Dave Han.

The elves started off with awful luck, falling down and Ironside killing one of them right off the line (the good doctor brought him back). Han tossed a short pass to Jonez who worked his way up the field and scored easily. 1-0!

The Gypsy fans then invaded the field flattening 5 of the elves (and 2 Gypsies) leaving the elves in a tough position. Still them fought hard and almost scored, had it not been for McDamage's tenacious tailing of the elven thrower until he was brought down.

The elves came back from half time energized and ready. Brimstone blitzed the ball carrier, but he dumped off the pass and the elf easily connected with a teammate down field for a rapid tie. 1-1. Then the kicked an on-side kick, inches from midfield! Stallion grabbed the ball and moved for cover. Then the elves badly hurt Brimstone and Battler within seconds! The wave washed over the Dark Water boys, and Stormblades blitzed Stallion knocking the ball free. It was picked up by an elfen catcher, for another TD! Suddenly Dark Water was down 1-2!

The boys rallied to try and tie the game, though Jonez bobbled a short throw from Nightsong. The Gypsies got the ref, but before they could use it, Drawbridge was taken out! Elves swarmed the backfield, but Jonez managed to get the ball and scramble up field. Dodging blitz after wardancer blitz, Jonez managed to dance into the endzone in the final seconds of the game for the tie 2-2!

Ironside is fast becoming a fan favorite. Only three games and he's already picked up two MVPs and a casuality. Stallion is reportedly a little miffed that all of his efforts to secure the ball came to naught, but he is determined to play hard and better himself in the forge of competition...
