“After a hideous start to the SWL season the Volts were desperate for their first win and thanked the Chaos gods when they got it. They also recieved their first non-MVP SPP's. There was much rejoicing. The game was not without its tense moments though with one super unlucky moment on the last turn of the 1st half when a simple throw was spilled in the endzone by one of the Prince Regents. I have to say it was that bit of luck that got the Volts over the line. ”

The Prince Reagents, for all their biting pre-match talk, just couldn't get their game on. Fumbling simple passes, handoffs, pick ups, the team seemed to be distracted by something... Even when some other players would put on a brief burst of competence, the others would not follow suit until later, when the first had fallen through.
And as we all know, a reaction is limited by its slowest step.
After the match, however, a comforting count of the team's treasury led to a decision to purchase the first skilled player the team has seen - A Lion Warrior by the name of Ace'ton, a Knyez in his local region.
Perhaps this talented newcomer will spur the team on to new heights of adequacy, with his ability to do what could not be done to score - catch an accurate pass.”
