“A lot of good and bad luck for both coaches early in the game.

I got screwed when my Troll niggled pre match for the second game in a row and I used apoth to bring him in. A few turns later, a one dice block caused a -1 AV on my Bull Centaur with AG4... doh!!!

I was very unlucky to only draw in the end. I managed to recover the ball with about 4 turns left in the game with a 1-0 lead. My opponent with no rerolls left does a GFI, a 2+ Leap, a one dice Blitz (Pow) and the ball luckily falls outside of my cage. His Thrower does a 3+ pick up, and a 4+ (with Pass reroll) throw and then a 2+ catch and a 2+ GFI with the receiver).

On my turn to try and get close to his receiver, I roll Pushes on my Blitz, rerolled to Pushes, then roll a 1 to make a 2+ dodge TWO FRICKING TURNS IN A ROW.

With the scores tied at 1-1 I had two turns left to score. Turn 7, I GFI with a Hobbo to get into scoring range for turn 8, failed GFI, reroll also a 1. Turn 8, with a Bull Centaur still a possible scorer (would need a 4+ catch after a 2+ dodge), I fail a GFI again with a Hobbo and then fail the reroll again.

That run of good luck for my opponent and crap luck for me in the last 5 turns cost me the victory.
