Though Lady Luck clearly abandoned them they also contributed to their own ill fortune.

It all went wrong at the opening kick off and went down hill from there.

The Norse received but left a big hole in their set up just inviting a blitz.
They escaped the blitz but failed the pickup on their first action which was just as bad.

This gave the orcs the momentum and they never looked back. AV9 had the advantage over AV7 in the blocking battle and once the orcs had a numerical advantage it was going to be very difficult for the Norse.

Big Ks Top Tips.

Make the opposition work to get into your backfield. i.e. don't leave gaps. If they have frenzy at least make them go around the outside.

Cover the ball before rolling the dice. If it all goes wrong they still have to work to get the ball.

Take the momentum. The three on the line are just asking to be knocked over, hit a fourth with the blitz. If you set up well and cover the ball you can afford to hit the line guys before going for the pick up.
2D blocks with the block skill are less likely to fail than a pickup. If a block does fail you will still usually be in OK shape.

Don't get into a slugfest with a tougher team
