In the first we found the Orcs able defenders and took longer to score than usual. I chose to advance more carefully, fearing a turnover and pass that could see us behind. Overalll I was happy with our offense.
In the second, great coaching by pml97 saw the Khemri numbers reduced and some good use of the width of the field. This is the first time an opponent has been this innovative, and it caused us severe problems.
In the end, a goofed rush led to an almighty ruck, which of course the Streetfighters seized control of and held the game, ending with greater numbers on the field, despite being seriously short in the early stages of the half.
I have some defensive worries now dude! Previously people have just tried to push up, and been bashed from the field for it. This time, more mobile play, coupled with the reduction of a Mummy, meant a touchdown was almost certain.
I will go back to the drawing board pre-season to attempt to find a solution!
“The Mantis looked to take on the might Street Fighters an up and coming Power House. The first half was a slow drive by the Fighters who were able to pound the ball in late in the half.
The second half was quite a fan delight as both teams continually smashed the other off of the field. In the end the Mantis wasn't able to do much more than make for an interesting mid field scrum.
Great game Pras! Great team!”
