“As season 5 draws to its close the pressure mounts as the top 2 promotion spots are fiercely contested. This was to be the KK's toughest game yet against veteran coach PeteW, and coach Nosebiter was under no illusions of an easy ride.

Things started badly for the rats, with the humans taking advantage of the fumble fingered skaven thrower and turning the rats over for a turn 3 TD.

The action began to hot up with both teams giving no quarter and sticking the boot in with reckless abandon. A couple of bad calls by coach Nosebiter saw Dangermouse go crowd surfing but today av 8 was good and the humans escaped the majority of the game with no casualties until Batfink was killed by a skaven linerat. Fortunately the apo decided to do his job and fixed the superhero up good, which was nice :)

More slippery handed antics from Pete's hapless thrower nearly saw the humans stopping the rats from scoring at all in the first half, but the speedy little rodents got a turn 8 TD to bring the scores level at 1 apiece.

A stint of hot dice rolling saw the KK's scoring there second TD to give them the lead but the rats replied with a nifty 2 turn TD of there own to level the score at 2 - 2.

Coach Nosebiter realised that a violent and bloody third TD needed to be run in as slowly as possible to prevent the speedy rats from drawing the game. Things went pretty well with the drive as the KK's fouled and beat their way up the pitch injuring 4 rats in the process, scoring in their turn 8 and giving coach Nosebiter the game, or so he thought...

PeteW dug deep, and made up for the rubbish rolling that had dogged the rats for most of the game by getting all his amazing dice rolls is the space of a single turn to pull off a text book one turner to snatch a draw from the jaws of certain defeat.
Much to my consternation, still, them's the breaks.

Spectacular play Pete, you are indeed a worthy opponent.
