“The Mooseriders had Nuffle on their sideline for this match. Sure there were skulls and KOs, but they were able to recover from both and had some pretty good dodging to get them into the right position to win the game. The dwarfs broke the norsemens armour, but probably not as often as they should and were only able to cause KOs.

Things were looking dire early on with three early KOs and the ball bobbling free from Torbad's inaccurate pass. Fortunately Muffin was able to grab the ball and with Mad Moe's help, get clear of the dwarven defensive pack. Not to be outdone, Sven put the hurt on Ka-Bam, reducing the dwarfs to two ball handlers. The Abyss' attempt to even the score was met with skulls and Muffin was able to hand off the pig-skin to Nostriclesson in the for the score.

The dwarfs were quick to capitalise on the poor kicking skills of the norsemen and formed a dense pack around the line of scrimmage as they drove back the norse linemen. Unfortunately the Lead Foot's rear was exposed and Muffin and Sven were able to put some pressure on the ball carrier. Responding to the Norse consolidation, Morgion was again gifted with skulls. Gleefully Sven launched his assault against Lead Foot, being knocked over in spite of Muffin's assistance. But time was the dwarfs enemy and although only three norsemen were left standing the dwarfs were no closer to scoring.

The second half saw a strong dwarven cage form, this time with a rear guard. The dwarfs continued their push and even though Crazed Clarence had a clear shot at Lead Foot, he overextended himself and was grounded by the heavily booted dwarf.
The dwarfs then began to advance down the southern wide zone and the Mooseriders scurried rearwards in defence. They managed to again swarm around Lead Foot, but Crazed Clarence was unable to put him to ground. The dwarf slayers cleared the way for Lead Foot to scoot along the sideline. Sven was eager to rectify his earlier failings and landed a stunning blow on Lead Foot, bringing his rush to an end.
With close support from Exii, Sven was able to secure the ball and begin the long trudge towards the endzone. Ka-Pow was unable to dislodge the ball from Sven's tight grasp, who was then able to hook up with Muffin.

There were no dwarfs in range and Muffin was able to jog in for the score as the final whistle blew.”
