“Going into this game, the Hissy Fits 'R Us were hard up for a win... or at least a well-fought battle on their part. Elves seemed like a logical choice to take out their frustration upon. But the Myerdeth Sever'd Woodies were up to the challenge also. With their catchers leading the charge, they ran out and cashed a quick 2-turn TD. But the Hissy Fits were itching to get theirs too! The Hissy Fits, having the ref on their side, landed a few key fouls to cut the defenders down to 4. They swiftly moved the ball avoided some blocks and scored on of their own. A few more turns and another TD by the Woodies led to the end of the first half leaving them up 2-1 at Halftime.

In the 2nd half, with only 6 men a side, the Hissy Fit Saurii started to get rough. In two turns, 2 Saurii landed devastating blows much to the Myerdeth fans displeasure and SI'd a Lineman and a Catcher. Both injuries resulted in Niggling injuries. With a few dodges, the scores was tied at 2-2.

With only 2 turns remaining the Lizzies knew they had to stop the quick TD to salvaged a hard-earned Draw. With only 5 woodies and 5 loizzies left, the Hissies had to make a stand. By uncharacteristically placing 2 Skinks on the LoS and keeping 2 Saurii back deep to blitz, the Lizzies were ready. Grabbing the ball and spreading out the defense, the Woodie thrower brought it up and quick passed to a nearby elf and he ran it up halfway up the field.

Now, with only one more turn, the Hissy Fits had to make one more stop. Carefully positioning defenders to stop the ball, a Saurus blitzed into action. Stopping the ball with a big POW and stunning the elf in the process, the game seemed to be headed for a draw. A helpful Skink moved in to corral the football and tried a quick pass for a Completion. The needless pass is dropped (after a RR) and the ball is loose for the taking! Oh no, the Woodies still had one more turn... Dum Dum Dum!

The talented Lineman Eva Glyn took matter into her own hands, dodged out and superbly snatched the ball away from two Skinks defenders. She threw a short pass into the end zone where low and behold, a standing Woodie was waiting with baited breath. Despite being hampered by two encroaching Saurii, the catch was made and much-wanted Draw turned to a shameful Loss for the Hissy Fits.
