“This game was very bloody and for good cause. Challenged by 9 Chaos warriors and beastmen to take the playing field, the norse warriors decided to bring out their pointy boots to compensate.
With so many Razor Shapr Claws and even one Claw/RSC beastman on the field, the odds were looking bad for the poor little norse. The norse pantheon were gods and they could therefore affect the dice, at least on the first turn of the game. The coin toss was for the norse; the kickoff was a get the ref for the norse; the first block action of the game was a block from Thor himself, who killed a beastman outright. Since both teams had had their apothecaries poisoned before the game, the use of apoth on that rookie was useless.
The game became only more brutal from there onward.
In the late moments of the game, a lone beastman (they were two on the line of scrimmage) miraculously managed to score a heroic touchdown, involving a massive amount of dodging without reroll and a gfi. The norse gods claim they were showing mercy and respect for the beaten and surviving beastman.

Another bloody day in blood bowl.”
