“Coach MadMac led his Deep Dark Chocolate to an easy 3-0 victory in their sophmore match against Coach Trusman's Magnizidas.

DDC received the first KO and steadily moved the ball downfield for a TD pass on turn 6 from Blitzer Toscano Black to Lineelf Kshocolat.

Magnizidas came back with only 9 players on the field against the DDC full line up. DDC kicked the ball deep into the Magnizidas backfield - just 1 square from the endzone. DDC Blitzed on the Kickoff and rushed for the ball. Blitzer Dagoba rushed into the backfield. Magnizidas Thrower Suarrez was so shaken that he failed to pick the ball up twice in a row. On the last turn of the first half DDC Blitzer Dagoba knocks Thrower Suarrez away from the ball, deftly lifts it from the ground and scores in the final seconds of the first half.

Two full teams line up for the second half. We still are not able to see an 11 vs 11 game because Magnizidas Blitzer Zaptr is stunned by a rock thrown by an over zelious DDC fan.

The first turn of the second half may indicate a change in Coach Trusman's luck. He manages to injure Lineelf Cavalier giving Magnizidas a player advantage. Magnizidas Lineman Blier rescues a badly thrown pass on the bounce and prevents a turnover.

Alas it is not to be. DDC takes the ball from Magnizidas and scores their third TD on turn 8.

It is a true pyrrhic victory for DDC. On turn 8 of the second half Lineelf Vivani is killed by the bumbling Thrower Suarrez who knocks himself out in the process. Adding insult to injury, or should that be permanent injury to death, BLitzer Dagoba ages on his first skill roll and picks up a nigling injury.

Coach MadMac had this to say in an interview after the game, "Nuffle is a harsh master. 40K and the loss of two players is a poor reward for such a great performance by this new team."”
