“The first half was amazingly tight! (Thanks to some very lucky handicaps to make the teams even. Morley's revenge took out 3 norse including their ogre and star catcher.)

The Norse kicked off in the rain, blitzed, and after some hectic scrambling the Wild nearly caged up accross midfield. But one bad turn and the drive slowed and then the Norse defense heroicly knocked the ball loose. After a scoreless first half with 6 norse KOs, most of the norse recovered to field 11 for the second half.

The second half was not the norse half as some errors cost the team the ball while the rotters poured on the pain. The Norse nearly scored the first TD of the game if their star thrower had made a pass to a wide open blitzer but he was in 3 FA zones by error... and fumbled. The wild eventually picked up the ball and stalled long enough to seal the win.

The norse did successfully make something like 4 out of 5 2DB-against blocks in the closing turns.

Thus ends NWL season 5.
