“The Gypsies are in a slump, no doubt about that. Hired once again to clean the dead out of a local blood bowl arena, the New Gypsies brandished their crosses and the crowbars.

Blame this one on the coach! Ryce made a couple questionable calls at the beginning of the game and the boys would never recover. Drawbridge managed to send a skeleton and mummy to the sidelines, but then was sidelined himself by the ref. The Gypsies would watch the dead score, but would come back and tie the game with a heroic first touchdown by Killzone!

The second half was brutal. Brimstone and Jonez were taken out in the first half and the sweltering sun drove more Dark Water boys to the bench. With only six men against a fieldfull of the simmering dead, the boys tried hard, McDamage almost broke free, but it was not to be. The dead got the ball back and though Killzone tried, he couldn't stop the overwhelming hordes. The dead would win, 2-1.

The fans are upset at another loss. Ryce has hired a new catcher to stand in for Jonez in the next game which he'll sit out due to injury. Barracks impressed the fans with his performance and has been advanced to the next pay grade. He has grown into quite a support lineman.
