This game started out as I expected...The elves got ahold of the ball early and ran down field with it. Then they decided to stall so they could get a player into position that they wished to score the TD. Well, that player failed a Go For It and that setup a potential blitz by the cd's on the ball carrier. CD's managed to dislodge the ball and get the ball but they couldn't keep ahold of it or capitalize on the situation. 1st half ended scoreless for both teams.
The elves came alive in the 2nd half and scored fairly easily.
The CD's then got very lucky and made an awesome pass to their star BC Stophaniv who took the ball down field and with a bit more luck on a blitz on the only elf covering him, he was able to tie it up and score.
On retrospect the cd's probably should have stalled for the tie and OT. Because the elves had 3 turns left in which to score their winning 2nd TD which they did without too much problem.

Congrats to Tekoda and may he survive the rest of the qualifier. :)
