In the first turn when my opponent received, his Mummy tripped and fell at the feet of most of my waiting Orcs...the inevitable boot came flying in and the Mummy was Niggled with no regen...OUCHY!
The next turn the other Mummy was POW'ed and again the boot followed...a second Niggle with no Regen saw the Undead SI box filled already :-)
From then on teh Orcs used their strength advantage to secure the ball by TZ's and did not play for any risky ball actions. The pressure was on the Undead team to try and get the ball back and score as it had been their drive.
0-0 at half time
In the second half the Orcs basically caged upfield slowly stalling along the way taking NO risks with the exposure of the ball carrier. the aim being to ensure that a lucky Ghoul could not equalise near the end of the game. The score came in the Orc T7.
A tough game for my gallant opponent, well played considering the poor start.
A first win for Stable SCUM and a famous victory for me against a dreaded LOA memeber^^
