“An almost traditional opening to this most auspicious Season XX! A draw of tragic proportions is not the momentum we had hoped to carry into this campaign...but as it transpired we should be happy to have it.

What looked a decent break in the first half was quickly scuppered by some rampaging werewolves...but more galling was a double skull block by our strip baller which surely would have set up SisterLuck for some hero play. Ah well.

2nd half started with a nasty Pitch Invasion which saw around 10 players taken down! This was the break we needed, along with a switching of the dice luck ;) An opportunistic ghoul tried a break, but in much the same fashion as 1st half was quickly dealt with and returned eventually for the equalizer. A last chance for a doggy to seal the win met with a failed dodge and we go to round two with the 2 points.

Good fun as always!

3 pts: #1 Fluffy. Was targeted early as all AG 5players should be and withstood numerous attempts on his life. Scored the TD and threw the pass that could have been the deal sealer. A distraction and a menace. Expect big things from him this season!

2pts: #2 Scareah. The combo of dogs on this team is a defensive nightmare. AG5 above throwing to a move 9 guy is a drag to cover. Add in the coverage they have on defense and this is a lethal 1-2 punch. Too bad he doesn't have dodge though ;)

1pt # 3 Gertrude. Just a rookie Flesh Golem...but held tight in the middle...and even caused a minor upset against our FB when needed to help secure the TD. ”
