“When you see a 1-1 tied score between bashy teams, you automatically think to yourself, "This had to be one of the most boring stalling games, ever. Typical of those bashy types." But this game was not anything of the sort.

Actually neither team stalled. Both teams did score after they recieved for the half, but in 4 turns. The remaining 4 turns of each half was used for heroic defensive stands, on both sides.

The Vegetables of Horror, recieved first, and plowed thier way up one sideline, as a fake. They then advanced the ball up the other side, after the mummies had committed. At turn 3 it was obvious that Ugly Parsley was going to make it to the endzone.

After the kick off, the Soulless legion, decided to show what mummies could do, and plowed right up the middle. Unfortunately for Tboudot, he did not account for the toughness of Chaos Dwarf Blockers and ran into a major speed bump. In a desperate attempt to salvage a score, he swungo out to the side, and was stopped just a few squares from the endzone. The play was topped off with a foul, and a career ending injury on Rotten Cabbage.

1 BC down, and a Hobgoblin sent off for a foul, Vegetables of Horror were outnumbered for the second half. Despite the odds, the Vegetables of Horror nearly stopped the score. This time Soulless went up a widezone from the start, using the mummies to bottle up the Chaos Dwarf Blockers and forcing the remaining Bull Centaur (Spoiled Lettuce) and the 4 remaining Hobbos to make the defense, they came just short of achieving thier goal, in turn 4.

4 Turns remaining, and the Veggies get the kick off. Manpower and time is tight, so all remaining players are forced to participate in the play, no fakes this time. The veggies spot the weak side, and start hitting thier way up the side. A mix of lucky pows, and unlucky pushes follow, and fall just short of allowing for another score.

A good game altogether. Tboudot played well, unfortunately he did fall victim of my ongoing rivalry with Korhil, so I busted up a zombie.”
