“The Legion arrived to see their human foes sitting across a field of ice. Having taken a long break away from the violence, the team was ready to rend! The first half saw the ball going to FC Pyunik. A brilliant pass to catcher Arshak Sadoyan had Pyunik on the move. But then the boys let loose, Key blocks laid down by Marcus Decimus and Maximus Daedalus opened a blitzing lane for star beastman, Soul Render, who was more than happy to take a shot. Sadoyan proved his equal though as the rampaging war beast only managed a push towards the rabid fans. Sadoyan then streaked down the sideline after being freed up by a block from Vigen Stepanyan. The Armenian Attack was looking at nothing but open field until Marcus Decimus ended the drive with a brilliant stand made by Decimus leaving Ruben Hayrapetyan gasping for air on the ground. An unearthly scream let loose from the lips of Tigris the fan favorite as he saw the open line to the ball carrier. A vicious hit saw number 7 flying into the crowd with the ball in hand, luckily he was saved by FC's coach before the mob could do more than stun him. As the ball flew back onto the field Arcanus Rex saw his opportunity arise and he seized it. Storming along the left side, The King saw his legions rise to guard him. leaving humans scattered and staring down an angry foe. Marcus Decimus stood his ground again ending the counterattack, but the men of Pyunik had found a way to mark the king with a lineman. Mortis Profundis sent the offending Paruyr Hayrikyan to the Kings Men on the sideline.Tigris was not to be outdone for the day as he sent blitzer Oskanyan to join his teammates in the crowd. The bruising Arcanus Blitz left a free lane to the end zone which his majesty was only too happy to capitalize on. A second Pyunik offensive push failed when Vigen Stepanyan injured himself going for it and slipping on the ice. The initial drive of the second half ended with Claw Mangle in the end zone and due to several Pyunik team members on the sideline recovering from blistering hits. The game just never seemed to go against the Legion as they created another turnover and almost scored on the final play only to fumble away the 3-0 opportunity.”
