“A fun match that was pretty one sided when the Brawlers had their super-star (90 SPP) Minotaur niggle out before the match started.

The Boyz were able to take advantage of an early dropped catch by the Brawlers just behind their line of scrimmage and take possession of the ball and score.

In the second half, the Boyz started in offence and soon powered their way through the reduced Brawlers lineup to score a second TD early.

The Boyz then stole the ball in defence on the next kickoff thanks partly to a Lightning Bolt spell and had a third TD setup, but some poor blocking downfield (read double skulls with no rerolls left doing un-necessary blocks elsewhere LOL... if the first two blocks I made were to set up the TD, I would have scored hehe) cost the Boyz the extra score.

A fun game all in all. My opponent had some awesome luck, getting quite a few one dice pows, and also double pows on two dice I choose LOL. In one sequence of play, he got the 2 pows I choose, followed by two one dice pows hehe.

But missing his Minotaur and having a few AV6 players on the pitch meant that the luck with some blocks wasn't really going to be enough as I KO'd enough players during each drive to have an advantage near the ball most of the match.

Still a fun game against a fun opponent.”
