“An interesting game that saw the a rough start for the elves - opening kickoff our catcher was badly hurt by a rock and so we were down for 10 players for the rest of the game. Snake eyes on a gfi and failed dodge used our re-rolls in the first two turns. However, we managed to pressure the beastmen enough that they only were able to stall a few turns so we had enough time left. Their wizard hit us, but we managed to recover the ball on turn 8 and hand it off for the score. Both sides had gotten the ref for the last part of the first half and one of our fouls was a badly hurt and combined with some knock-outs earlier, we actually had a slight man advantage to start the second half. We continued to bash back against the beastman and soon we had the advantage in the second half and managed to hold on for the 2-1 victory.
