“Permanent Plutocracy continued their winning streak, by beating the Chaos Dwarves of Nufflucked 1-0, in front of 112,000 fans.

After kicking to Nufflucked to get the game underway, Plutocracy quickly swarmed the ball and they had a chance for a TD to end the first half, but failed.

The second half saw Nufflucked knock the ballcarrier down over and over but in the effort they either couldn't pick it up, or had no player left to go get it. Ultimately, Plutocracy was able to score with almost no time remaining.

Of larger impact on the Veteran bracket, is the death of plutocract minotaur, Somtim da Hornz, by a vicious foul after the team apothecary saved him from a minor injury. Team reps have issued the following statement:
"All cuts of beef will be on sale this week, while supplies last!"

While Somtim was good at blocking, he had a trick knee that sometimes ailed him and we are glad to see him go in such a spectacular manner!!!
