“An entertaining game vs some banged-up mutant elves. The soft nature of both teams showed, as bashing didn't play much of a role in this one.
The Elves scored in Pro Elf fashion with nice passing in T5. My Vamps set out to counterscore but the ref decided to give my team some added challege with adjusting the time back. Yet, with a good pass, a running Thrall was able to equalise just before the whistle.
Receiving in the 2nd half, the Vamps controlled the ball after some initial troubles and stalled out the half. The game seemed won after a score on T16.
Just I had forgotten the ref and his time adjustment. What he took away in the first half, he now added to the second to give the fans the 16 turns they had paid for. The Elves found the one tiny hole in the defense and slipped thru for a tying score.
