“Game 22

This game played out very much as expected. A weak human team faced up to the raving horde that is Schola, and managed to restrict Schola with some fantastic plays. A brilliant game from the All Stars just dropped short of the mark in several critical plays.

Several early failures on the Chaos team put them out of position, with the minotaur Vis in the wrong place, on the ground at the end of their first turn. A gang foul later and he is out for the rest of the match. Some pushing and shoving followed by a human blitz spilled the ball on the ground, where a failed pickup allowed Schola to keep the ball out of play for the rest of the half.

A blitz at the kickoff by Schola put the ball in Mortifers hands for a short period, but it was rapidly recovered by the All Stars. What followed was a classic blunder as human thrower fell over going for it to get a shorter throw range. Some bad positioning by the humans let the chaos team recover the ball and blitz a hole out of the screen to score the only TD of the game.
