Bizarre game. The Junkies started in offence but their coach was half asleep and did a one dice blitz instead of a two dice and a few players were left in tackle zones.

The Babes struck hard, and had amazing luck with armour rolls as they KOd player after player and also pushed a player out of bounds. The Junkies were horribly outnumbered and finished the half with 3? players on the pitch as the Babes caged the ball and ran in an easy TD.

In the second half, the Babes started in offence and things went pearshaped quickly, with a player taken out by a foul, then a Blitz move was snaked (lucky I had Stand Firm) then block was double skulls and KO on the same turn.

Everything went disasterously as the Babes were down 3 players early.

A break away TD was possible and the Babes set it up only needing a 3+ to pass to an almost certain score (3+ catch required) only to fumble the 3+ pass with RR.

The Junkies recovered the ball and with their superior numbers ran in their own TD in reply as the Babes themselves only had 5 or 6 players due to all the KOs they received in the second half.

Well I came into this game expecting to get romped all over and I was half right. I had the early mega luck and looked to be in a commanding position, ball caged, 1-0 up against only 2 tacklers but then I lost 3 players in 2 turns and it came down to the short pass with AG4 and a 3+ catch to set up a likely victory but it was not to be.”
