“First round NFL playoff match saw some solid looking chaos dwarves taking on the Handbaggers.

Going into the game and seeing there were only 11 Dwarves in the squad the Handbaggers had invested in extra linwomen so they could afford to foul the stunty gits off the pitch.

Unfortunately both DP's got sent off on their first fouls in the 1st half :(
Team captain Betty Blodge did manage to RIP the star bull though with a block, but apo saved.

Before we knew it the handbaggers had somehow snuffled the ball off of the CD's and ran away for a turn 4 score as Bettty Blodge sacked the ball carrier and grabbed the ball!

Cursing their luck the CD's received again with the zons looking to make it very difficult to score before halftime.

The Dark Land Hats pushed forward hard and i was forced to give ground, with only a couple turns to go a hobgob threw to the star bull who caught it with aplomb! I then gave a couple minutes thought to whether to use the wizard or not.... finally deciding to trust to my 3+ dodge instead.

With an assist on the Ball carrier Betty Blodge dodged clear and smacked him in the hooves with a kind scatter putting it in zon tacklezones. 1 turn of bashin later the zons cleared the ball of tacklezones ready for Beth Smith in her first game to pickup the ball, throw a perfect pass and for Alotta Fagina to succesfully catch her first ball of the season in a tacklezone! This girl has had marmalade on her hands all season up until now but not today.
Ball in hand she successfully dodged out of the tacklezone and GFI'd for the score elf stylee
2-0 on the stroke of halftime :O

Coach Gritter then played out the 2nd half in a very very negative way, looking to frustrate the Dark Land Hats until the clock ran down.

After a feint forward with 2 receivers, the girls then pulled back again, looking to maintain a screen and try and stay out of trouble while thrower Handbagger polished the ball in her own touchdown zone.

This pattern of play proceeded for some time, however nuffle obviously didnt approve my boring play as my Dauntless Tackle blodge blitzer Mo Mowlam got RIP'd and the apo failed.

Around turn 6 the pressure really started to fall upon my zons, some of whom had left the pitch for the KO box.
Seeking to buy at least another turn, not get bashed so much and perhaps even score, i called the wizards fireball in.
The fireball felled 2 chaosdwarves and a Bull leaving a nice gap for betty to move through. My thrower finally got moving and successfully passed for Betty, who then ran through the gap and blitzed a hobgob into the KO box beforing GFI'n as far as she could.

It wasnt quite enough distance though, but she survived the rerolled 2db as she fended off the charging Bull! Her luck didnt hold though and on the dodge to try and run forward to score she tripped.

However the job was done, forced to try passing to scattered chaos dwarves the ball wouldnt stick and the match ended 2-0 to the Handbaggers!

After the match Betty Blodge said "I thought i were bloody greeat!"
